Now that sir was a lucky find, don't know what they cost but worth it at any price. And 640 miles isn't bad at all for most of you guys. Congratulations you scored!

Nice score Kevin...while I don't understand the market for NOS parts I do recognize it. If I were in the business of repopping parts I would see a great deal of value in having a pristine NOS part as a pattern. That said, once painted an NOS part is just another part.

Those are in incredible shape. No shelf wear to speak of.

I knew a fellow out west in need of an air cleaner for a 53 Ford. I found a couple on the interweb for 40-50 bones. Before I could tell him, he called me panting like a dog about his nos air cleaner find. AND it was only $150! Well, it may have been nos, but there was no paint left on it to speak of. The decal was in tatters, and it had a few scrapes and bruises from encounters with the floor/other items. It no doubt got relocated throughout the years. Funny thing is, he planned to use it that way. I asked why? He said it is nos and would hate to mess with it. His car., but he could have got the same look with the eBay one for 1/3 the price!

Again, glad your find isn't like this guy's!
