Sounds good Steve. I have a small upgrade to the truck to do on friday. I will be installing the new speakers. Then off to make catridges for a few hours so we have enough blanks to use for the last event of teh year.
Yeah we roll paper cartridges Steve. These are blanks for reenactments we have to make. Almost out at the moment. Counted them last night. We have about 25 rounds left. Nowhere near enough for the last event of the year. So we figure we need to make a few hundred rounds. Should take a couple of us a few hours.
Yeah. with 3 or 4 of us we can crank out the rounds until we run out of powder. We have a good method we use. one or two people roll paper into the tubes we need. another person is measuring out powder and putting the premeasured powder into cups ( we use the plastic cups for ketchup from Wendy's for that) and then the last person or two is pouring the powder into the paper tube and folding it closed. When we had more people in years past we would get 10 or 15 of us making cartridges for 3-4 hours and we could get 30 or 40 dozen rounds made.
It is more tedious then anything else Steve. Especially for those rolling the paper into the tubes we need. They have to roll it right and then twist the one end closed. .
