Mud Flaps / Splash Guards

Ok, now that I have a delivery date for my Super Duty. Yeah! I am ordering a few accessories... The Husky Floor Liners are already ordered. I am searching for a good deal on the B&W RVK3300 5th Wheel Companion Hitch.

My question is... What are you guys doing for Mud Flaps / Floor Liners if you didn't get them from the factory? The no-name set I have on my 2011 are ok but but I won't buy them again. I plan on putting them front and rear.

Thanks!

I'm waiting for the Husky molded flaps to be finished. I put them on my 2011 and really liked them. They found the balance of protection and good looks without being overbearing. I don't like the flat trucker flaps that you see around.

I contacted Husky and they are working with their mold builder as we speak. They're trying to get a few done in time for SEMA. They have to make two versions, one with to accommodate the little wheel lip molding and another without. They also have special fasteners for use on the aluminum fender.

I have contacted Husky twice and they have been more than willing to share information and seem to have an excellent attitude regarding customer service. They have the Weatherbeater Floor mats available now but I think I want the X-Act Contour which are still in design. They appear to hold more crud. Any comments from previous users?

I am amazed that Ford does not have the moulded splash guards for the dually's. My 15 came with them and now I do not want to go back to the flat rubber ones but Texas requires that I have something there... hurry Husky.

I also find it strange that they are not required in most states on single rear wheel trucks but the are available from the factory and are required by some states on dually's and not an option from the factory....

Depending on your use you might want to check RV supply sites. There are a lot of flaps designed to protect the towed vehicles.

I had the molded Weathertech splash guards on my last 2 trucks and I'm going with the same again when they become available.

I ordered front and read flaps from the factory. When I picked up the truck they were not installed. Dealer stated that the manufacturer had not supplied them to KTP for installation or they weren't available at the time of build and will be mailed to me when available.

Here is a truck that I saw with the factory mud flaps a couple of weeks ago.

I think those look good. Do you have to remove the tires to install them?
Should have ordered them from the factory 😩
