I am curious if anyone decided to get the Ford extended warranty and or maintenance package? I plan on keeping this truck for a long time and suspect I will be way past the standard warranty in a couple years. Anyone think its worth it? I pick up my truck on the 15th and need to decide if I add warranty to the insanely expensive truck as it is.

For myself
I will buy the extended warranty..
But I will leave the FFPP. Over the last 5 years and going on my 5th new truck.
Found FFpp to be expensive. This new one I will pay out of pocket for oil changes.
FMPP appears to me to be over priced IMO and have to fight with dealers
For normal wear items. Just ask them if they grease the cailper carrier during
Brake inspection. See what answer you get. Ford will not pay for this
And you will have to pay for the service. We had a brake sticking or dragging
Making noise. FMPP did not cover it! I was advised to drive it until
The brakes burn up and then it would be changed out?
My dealer told me that Ford was about the only extended warranty that would cover the F-450. I purchased it at $3275 for 84 months/125K. Sounded like a good deal to me considering how many computers & gadgets these things have on them.
Dealer also gave me the "Warranty Forever" package on the power-train just like the 2015 F-250 I purchased from them. Surely one of these will cover any problems I have down the road...
Ill get the ESP but probably not the Maintenance, for my driving style right now, until the DW retires, it would be much to expensive. Ill just py twice a year for my service.
