I6 Engine Swap -Need Advice!

Here's the deal:

I've got an all-original 1970 F100, with a 300 I6 and a 3-speed automatic.
Engine has no compression anymore, so I am going to pull it and slowly rebuild it.

This is my daily driver, so in the meantime an old-timer has gifted me an 85 F150 with an I6 (4 speed manual tranny).
Both are carbeurated. His comes with bonus power brakes, power steering and proper air filter housing.

I am about to swap the engines, but I have no experience on jobs this large. This is my first truck restoration!
I could use all the advice anyone has to offer, but I have a few worries in particular that need addressing:

Will the bellhousings match up, or will there be issues due to the engine years/tranny types?

Are the motor mounts the same for these years of I6?

What needs to be taken to swap the power brakes to my truck (I currently have drums all around)?

What needs to be taken to swap the power steering to my truck?

Any other major issues of compatibility that i need to worry about?

Thanks for reading folks!

Bad with forums. Posted this in the 67-72 Forum as well... Any way i can link them?

The blocks are the same so your original motor mounts will work.

Ditch the '85 carb and ignition - use your older stuff, or a new DS-II.

The bell housings are the same. You will need the pedal assembly, which may need to be modified. You might need to find one for your bump side. You'll need the clutch linkage that sits on driver side and goes from frame to block. You'll also need the tunnel for a manual for a bump side. Remove the auto shift lever, or replace the column with a bump column for a manual.

Oh, the cross member that supports the trans may be different. You may need to change swap drive shafts. Removal of the front clip will make the R&R much easier.

Actually, why not keep the 85 as is and drive it?

I am not looking to swap the 4-speed manual, as my automatic was recently rebuilt and suits me fine. The auto tranny should work fine with the '85 I6, correct?

Unfortunately the '85 is rusted out and unfit for the road. New England is where old trucks go to die.
