Running boards

Anyone know if you can get the oem retractable running boards added to the truck if they didn't come with them?

I saw this but if you look at fords running boards it was only a $750 option. So if I could order them for $750 from ford and be a stock parts I would gladly do that over the price that AMP wants for theirs.

You will find the majority of items listed on the build sheet are much less expensive when built on the truck. The accessory store is nearly double when purchased separated from the vehicle and I believe the parts too will shock you at the difference in cost.

Yep. Better to order through Ford when you build. However, keep in mind they aren't really "just $750". If you order a Lariat, you need the ultimate package and then the $750. So more like $4,000

Lol yea noticed that when building one online. I ended up buying one that was on the lot cause i didn't want to wait but it is a lariat with the ultimate package so thats why i was thinking $750. The running boards is one of the only options this truck didn't have that I bought that if I would have built one and ordered it, so that's why I went ahead and got it. The only other thing I wanted was the trailer backup camera that I was also hoping could be bought after the fact.
