Abe , ever had the job of loading & straightening rail road gondolas filled with rail road ties ? We made them at the mill in N. Wis. 8x10 and 10 x11 hardwood . Dad had a Navy Ross fork lift truck . Only would carry 20 at a time wet from the mill . All the bark needed to be peeled from them before sending w/ draw knives as it would rot the wood if not removed .Us boys would be appointed by Dad & Grandpa to be down inside the gondola as the ties were dumped in . No air movement what so ever down inside . It sucked !!
Not Abe here; but I did have the priveledge of unloading oilwell tubing from open top rail cars by hand. The lower the level in the car got, the higher we had to lift it over the edge…..and the more your **** was dragging!
Now that's cool. Reverse image search tells me it is a 1951 Plymouth Suburban. I kind of want one now, my wife wants an SUV....although she needs modern features and ride.
Here is one for sale https://www.carlisleauctions.com/veh...mouth-suburban although I bet just the engine is out of my price range, let alone the rest of it.
Indeed. Where's our photoshop guys that can put this Tiger on the back instead?
A club member has a Sunbeam heis dropping a v6 into.
I just found out Google search, that not all Tigers were v8's and not all Sunbeams tigers.
The Alpine was before the Tiger and both the Alpine & first Tigers had straight 4's
