rebuild tranny
Is it possible for someone who has never rebuilt a transmition to rebuild one of these that are in a '93 Aerostar with 3.0 ?
What are some tips and tricks that I may find helpful, or some pitfalls to avoid ?
Also, any sites that would provide info on this, or parts?
I am very mechanically inclined, and I have replaced front and real seals, and tranny filters, but have never actually tore into one.
I'm considering it because no one around here will rebuild one for less than $800

Well it depends on what model Transmission you have. I rebuilt two A4LDs for less than $300.00 each & they have been running great.

Then I went down to NAPA and got a A4LD techtran manual.
