This has been quite a journey from speculation, leaked photos and specs, real specs, awaited orders and actually hearing the excitement as those who purchased receive their new trucks. Hopefully mine is down to a 5 week wait.....wait....wait...wait..wait. What da' mean reschedule????? All a lot of fun.
Since this is an ordered truck and I won't take delivery till it arrives prob in November sometime I won't get the $1000 incentive because I cannot take delivery. There may be other incentives at that time but that may be a crap shoot?
I have no problems with waiting till Dec to catch to the end of year incentives.
What do you folks think....?

After you have your dealer load it in their computer have them put a priority 99 on the order, print it out for you and then take it home. (99 is a placeholder so their computer will keep the order but not send it out to Ford.) Start over with the order guide at home and make sure everything is exactly the way you want. Play with anything in the guide you did not order and be totally sure you will not wish you had ordered it a week later. Then go back to the dealer with any changes you might need or confirm the order is good and then have them change the order priority to what it needs to be and send it on its way, of course with a copy for you. That will give you the order number, the dealer code, and also the last name which will help you find the vehicle in chat after a couple of weeks. Good luck and congrats!

After burning a lot of midnight oil, about the only thing I could not come up with was the FX4??? I looked for it on the Public site but it does not seem to be there???
You have to select the Electronic Locking Diffs in order for the FX4 package to show up.
Thanks, the Ford Public site does not allow that option on a SRW, it asks if you want to go to DRW...but I know for a fact (because I looked at one yesterday) that a SRW, can be a FX4 w/3:55 Locking...
Update: Got tired of my big city dealer. They are a big Ford dealer and are in several major cities beside San Antonio. Finally got tired of building and proposing and never seemed to make a connection...why? Well it boiled down to this, They did not know a Super Duty from a Dodge Ram. If I had a question it was up to me to find the answer (thanks to all on here who helped in this escapade).
Anyhow got a call from a dealer I had approached but they are SMALL and the number 1 Ford product they sell is Super Duty's. They called and said they had a King Ranch in I went to look see and WOW is all I can say, really impressed. We talked (yesterday) and I said I would come in (today) and place my order. Then last night I sent hime my builds of which I had 2. I show up at noon and he says, you know the truck you looked at is almost exactly what you want except the truck bed spray on liner and we can have that done here in town.
He then told me your build comes to about $78k because you did not take the packages, which save you money or we can order you one, 8-12 weeks and your trade in will be worth less than it is today.
I said run the numbers and give me the keys to the truck. He comes out to the truck and yea its everything I wanted, but cheaper and I get Vib seats and moon roof to boot or in the case Free, because breaking down the package to individual buys is more costly...

He told me that they are a Super Duty seller, they sell more of those than anything else...but then the dealership is owned by a Rancher and he is VISIBLE. I mean you think he is just another guy who works there. Its just jeans and cowboy boots place.
