C4 Leaking
Help .. I have a C4 that is leaking from the bottom of the bell housing weep hole in the sheet metal plate . I removed the tranny brought it to the transmission shop and had the front seal replaced . The owner of the shop said the bushing looked real good so that wasn't replaced .He didn't remove the front pump itself because after removing the bolts it wouldn't come loose so he didn't want to risk cracking the pump . I reinstalled the tranny and same problem,its leaking . Could a plugged vent on the top be causing internal pressure ? It started leaking this spring . I never saw any leaks before and its be installed in the vehicle for about 5 yrs then one day this spring it started leaking . It takes about 10 to 15 minutes for it to start leaking when the vehicle is running and it doesn't appear to be leaking when it sits over night . I have test driven the vehicle and it seems to shift fine but its leaking pretty good . Any thoughts on what is going on here ? Thanks
