Curious, why would a person pay extra to order their truck with 20" wheels if they are going to rip them off as soon as the truck gets here anyway?

I was wondering that myself Tom. Must be he bought the truck off the lot and it wasn't an order he placed? I'd buy the wheels too if he was closer since stickergate doesn't seem to want to get resolved and more trucks with 20's are affected. Seems like AT 18's are the safest order right now.

I was thinking he bought it off the lot, but said 'my truck finally came in.' Oh well, doesn't matter I guess.

I would consider purchasing as well if I were closer to purchase time. Just buy them as take-offs and save the $1200 off the purchase price. I'm actually liking the looks of the 18" chromies, and the AT tires on them seem meatier than the Michs on the 20"s.

Ah, good point...

I agree on the Michelin's on the 20's. I'll be pulling mine on delivery and getting Nokian Rotiva AT Plus tires mounted up.

My wife would have a fit if I just bought a brand new truck and then told her I needed new tires! But, she'd get over it.

I don't really need the meatier tires, I just prefer the looks. We don't get much snow here in central MO, and if it's that bad, we just stay home. I work from home, so it's not like I HAVE to go anywhere.

Back on track...to the OP: A beauty of a truck...can't wait to see the finished product!

Tom, the Michelin's cost so much more than the Nokians to start with that it won't cost me much if anything to do the swap. I'll CL the Michelin's as new take offs with no miles. They will sell quickly I'm sure. Plus the Nokians aren't a snow tire. Just a much better AT for year round use....

Yes, back to waiting for the OP to post mod pics...

I'm guessing you wanted the deeper gear set for the 37's so that's why the 20's? Awesome truck. I'm still stuck on white myself. Just plain Oxford.

Also,I will get on your list of PM's for a price on the 20's. I ordered mine with the 18" and 3:31's

I know the Michs are pricey...

That's a good thought. I want 3:31's on mine as the load I tow is not really that much (9.5-10k), but I like the 20's. That may be an option...buy with 18's and 3.31's, then find some 20's on CL.

The silver goes good with those wheels. That thing looks like its already lifted. Do you have the heavy spring or snow package or something. Sure like it sits higher than all the others ive seen.
