I found a nice set of side steps at one of the local yards last week.
At first glance I thought they were Tedco's...but...they're not.
They have the words "Will Amsen Idaho Equip Pocatello" on them.
That phrase doesn't make much sense, Willamsen Equip Pocatello Idaho seems more logical...maybe these were a "blem" set?
I've never seen a set like these, Google searches for the above phrase(s) yield no results...anyone here ever seen these steps before?
Pics..
Before cleaning, nasty dirty with multiple coats of silver spray paint...
After some elbow grease magic and a few IPA's later...
I have a set of these on my 75 F250. I bought them new in Fairbanks, Alaska in 1976. Mine say, Okerberg Products Edmonds, Washington on them. I have no idea who made them.
"Will Amsen"....a guy I use to play cards with back in the day. "Idaho Equip"... that is the heavy equipment company Will use to own, I won it from him in our last poker game. He does not have a good poker face. "Pocatello Idaho"... nice town that has a great IPA brewery. lol
