The pics are of the connectors under the cover. And I believe that one pin is just the light on that photo because i double checked and the plastic and everything looks fine on both of those
I ohmed the valve cover harness and all the injector pins on that side come out to 4.4-5.0 ohms. I think I may have found 3 bad glow plugs in the process because i ohmed them and only got a reading on one, the other three were dead. I'm going to try and do an idm swap with my dad's truck and see what happens. If the idm is good, what else could it be?
I'll have to look but I believe I have one of those vgate Bluetooth scanners that you plug in and read with that torque app from a long time ago but iirc I couldn't get it to work quite right or connect. Not sure if I need a different Bluetooth dongle (I think they call them) or if I just didn't do it right. I'll try messing with that when I get home this afternoon.
sorry i havent been able to update recently, my phone broke. so i finally figured out that it was the IDM that was bad and causing problems. found one at the junkyard for about 22$ that is working great so far. i was curious so i took the old one apart and found out that it was full of water. thanks to all that helped, much appreciated
I was wondering why the old one got water in it because it appeared to be sealed fairly well but I might do the idm mod and that'll give me a chance to take it apart and reseal it
