Ac question.'93 f150

So i just replaced my compressor and dryer on my truck as well as vacuumed the system and flushed all the lines and components. Yesterday me and my girlfriends grandfather did all this and he filled it with about 33-36 ounces of refridgerent. It was very cold while driving but at idle it was not quite as cold. At idle the low side psi was at 60psi and had my gf rev the engine at 1200 rpm and it came down to about 45psi... This seems wierd because i was told at idle it was suposed to about 35psi... Im confused lol

There is more to the equation than a low side pressure reading. I assume you filled the system with R134a?

What is the high side reading?

What orifice tube did you use?

What was the ambient temperature?

Is the cooling fan working? Radiator shroud on place?

Cant remember what the high side was i used the blue and white orface tube that look identical to the stock. It was about 80 degrees outside. And the cooling fan is working and yes there is a fan shroud.

What is the ideal high and low pressure for my truck as well as how many ounces of refridgerant too if you know.

33 ounces is factory specifications for a factory R134a F-series/Bronco.You should have used a red orifice tube when using R134a.

Here is a Temperature versus Pressure chart for a factory R134a truck:

If both low and high side pressures are high I suspect blocked airflow across the condenser. The fins could be plugged up with bugs, debris, etc. That's why you need to look at the complete picture to properly diagnose.
