Big guys!!

I just saw this in the owner's manual, on page 43, just incase you need one.

If, because of body size or driving position, it is not possible to properly fasten the seatbelt over your lap and shoulder, an extension that is compatible with the seatbelts is available free of charge from Ford Motor Company dealers. Only Ford seatbelt extensions made by the original equipment seatbelts manufacturer should be used with Ford seatbelts. Ask your authorized dealer if your extension is compatible with your Ford vehicle restraint system.

If someone needed an extension, how would the seat be wide enough in the first place. Serious question, the seats seem narrow as is.

Andy I sat in the SD and it was like sitting in a Lazy Boy recliner after parking my big *** in a GMC the last couple of years.
The position of the seat even feels better in the SD.

This is nothing new. They have been providing these extensions for people who are too large for the seat belt to go around. The seat is the same size as they have been for years.

Haven't you ever seen a size 8 girl fit into a size 2 jeans??? Same idea I am 6' 4" and 425. Just imagine an offensive lineman, only bigger. Width wise my belly doesn't become part of the equation Actually I fit just fine in my Chevy. We'll have to see how the Ford works out.
