I am noticing many of the big box stores no longer carry T6 5W40 for 19$ gallon, it's pretty much 25 or 26+$ gallon most places. Talk about a steep price increase.
I realize there are rebates but ouch, and there are not always rebates. I wondered how they could sell it for 19$ gallon until recently and with a $5 rebate per gallon to boot.
It's making the Schaffers I want to try look a little better at least.

Was in the local walmart today and they wanted $23/gal. Auto zone was $27. They also wanted $39 for a 5qt jug of Mobile 1 full synthetic for the wife's gasser. Picked up the same thing at Walmart for $22.
Walmart had the Delo full synthetic for $19/gal. That's what I went with this time.
Menards had the T6 for $21.39/gal here. When I read on another well known powerstroke forum, most feel the T6 has changed and isn't one of the better choices any longer. Like they changed the formula?

If I remember correctly, the zinc level has been reduced. Correct me if I am wrong. The T6 no longer meets the zinc level requirements for my Kawasaki engine on the zero turn mower.
