Extended cab hold
So the hold on my truck has apparently been released and it's on the way (again), but I still don't know what caused the hold and my curiosity is getting the better of me. Has anyone received or seen an extended cab truck at a dealer? All I've seen have been double cabs, wondering if the extended cab caused the delay somehow.

I posted something similar to this just a little while ago (didn't even notice this post until now!!). I was thinking the delay has to do with the ext cab as well but now I'm not so sure. I did a search and found a coupe ext cab around me already on dealers lots. What was interesting is that my dealer showed me some paperwork this morning in how Ford bumped up the priority in my truck to "01" from a "10". I'm not so sure what that even means lol

Well nvm, then! I guess extended cab just isn't as popular as I expected.

I just got a VIN for an extended cab yesterday. I have been told the hold was due to the cameras, not the body style. That being said I expect the extended cab might go away in a year or two due to much decreased demand. It will be interesting with the increased wheel base if some of the demand comes back to the SC since the CC 8' box is starting to look like a city bus at 176" wheel base. My full screw Kenworth was only 180".

Have my current truck up for sale, and friends of mine who have friends who might be interested are looking for Crew Cabs, so it is trickling down to the used trucks too.

Yeah, I just want a space for dogs and tools. And I grew up riding in the back of an extended cab... it wasn't as nice for sure, but beat the crap outta the back of a 2 door Saturn.

Plus I really don't have the need for the extra space of the crew cab.
If I had a SD Crewcab shortbox it would just barely fit in my extended two car garage.
