Yes, they have a few "big truck" items but I'm not sure what year. Everything is all mixed up in batches but there are pictures of key items. Some of you guys that have part numbers in your heads could probably make out OK, lots of boxes with part numbers. To make it easier I sorted the 2 auctions with the word "truck" which made it easier.

Anyone score a bargain on the recent auctions? The lots were a real dog's breakfast of NOS, used stuff, and poorly identified shelf filler. I did get a couple of items for a 46 Tudor project.

From what I can tell, the rest of the items to be sold are paper: manuals, spec books, and such.

I probably won't know if I got any bargains until I get up there to find out what I bought. Hopefully I'll find out later today. The volume of parts stockpiled over 63 years of business would make it never ending to sell items piece-by-piece, so the lots ended up being quite a mixture of parts. The auction company is responsible for how the auction is being set up. The next two sales later this month are for the manuals, books, etc., and then they will get back to the parts auctions. Most of the parts on the last two auctions were from the first floor and they still have the second floor and basement full of parts.

I'm still waiting on the auction company for the settlement statement.

That's surprising it isn't moving quicker. My billing, credit card payment & paid in full receipt was all done by 10:00 or so this morning. I went to Little Dearborn & loaded up the 5 lots that I bought, two on Tuesday & 3 yesterday, visited with them and looked around a little & on my way home by noon. Going through the stuff was like a kid opening a Christmas present. I ended up with some nice surprises. In one of the lots I thought there was a 50th anniversary horn button & turns out there were two. In another lot there were two glass Holley float bowls (one NOS in the box) plus a new metal bowl and a very nice 51 page advertising brochure for the "Completely New for '53 Ford Economy Trucks." There is a lot more left to sell. They were organizing stuff on the second floor today. I might have to find more money & more storage room. It's funny how auction bidding goes sometimes. They had two new T98 4 speed transmissions on the sale yesterday. One said it had some rust on the inside & it sold for $200. The other did not have any rust & it sold for $50.00. I didn't know rust was valuable. Maybe I shouldn't have worked so hard to get rid of it.
