Color
After I bondo like crazy, what color do you think I should paint this? I was thinking a slate blue to bring out the chrome that is going to be put on it. I would love your opinions. It is going to be a flat bed, with custom made rails and a roll bar with kc lights.

Hey,
Depends on how good your body work is. Keep in mind that a dark color will show imperfections in the body work more than light colors. White or yellow shows the least. Remember, paint won't cover anything up, it will magnify it!
If you are comfortable with your body work, drive through some car lots and pick out a color. That's what I did. Once you find one you like, if it is a new car it will tell what the paint color is on the spec sheet that is taped in the window.

yeah, my dads truck was just as bad, and now you cant tell there was anything wrong with it, i dont plan on it being showroom or anything though, just something that will look good.

You could also check out the user gallery's for ideas. There's alot of really nice looking trucks in there, and many different color choices. My truck's a '64 Skylight Blue, and GM-12 White (has a touch of gray in it, really makes the blue stand out better).
