Tailgate Lock
Do I need a tailgate lock if I'm getting a platinum and the tailgate is locked with the remote? Will it prevent people from stealing the tailgate???

Yes it locks with the remote.

I could well be wrong on this but don't they all come with tailgate locks? At least the higher trim levels and certainly the platinum

Mine locks with the remote, it also doesn't have an actual tailgate handle, it has a button you push and it drops down slowly, I don't see any way they could bypass that.
