I cleaned up my pickup yesterday and when I went to get into it to put it in the garage, I twisted just right and here I sit on the couch. Not sure what the heck I did, but middle age is catching up with me lol. Anyways, I looked up my truck value on KBB and it came back at around $14-15k. How accurate is KBB? I had heard that used truck values were up, but is that still the case? I am not really interested in selling it, just curious. And I do know that anything I added does not affect the value, but I don't like to drive a stock truck. Thanks for the input and have a safe Labor day!!
2009 F250, xlt, 88k miles, v10, touch screen stereo/gps/bluetooth with 4 kenwood speakers and 2 fosgate boxes (about the only interior change), just installed new shocks, trans oil/filter, plugs, etc.
Ive tried those plug in "determine your vehicle's value" web pages before and gave up after like 20 minutes and 300 questions. I got so fed up i just ended up bailing out of the damn thing.
Your region has a big impact on market prices. Up here, I was stunned at what used prices go for. I mean they are insanely high. Same truck in Phoenix, AZ was 10K cheaper.
Bring them up here to sell them boys, these bozo's will pay new truck prices for used trucks with 100K miles on them. I paid less money for my brand new truck with dealer incentives at the end of the year, than an identical model truck 2 years old with 80K miles on it, and the (used truck) dealer wouldn't budge on the used truck price. Can't find a used truck for sale up here with less than 80-100K miles on it. And that's usually put on in a year or two.
