Production delay on rear camera
I found a site that shows production schedules on all vehicles showing a delay for the camera for the 2017 superduty on arifleet.com take a look.
Hope this helps for our truck delays. I know it's not the best news but at least it shows a ligit reason from a ligit site. I also waiting for a 450 Platinum Ultimate to replace my 2011 450 that I use to tow my toyhauler. Can't wait

My dealership actually gave me an update this afternoon citing this exact issue as what is holding up my order. They are hoping my truck is scheduled next week.
Yep, its the camera with the trailer package.... Ford is not scheduling any orders for a week and then they should be picking up orders again. I looked earlier today and they'll be scheduling for October build dates when things pick back up.
Is it the camera you mount on the back of the trailer? If so that's the reason mine didn't come with the truck and the dealer is waiting on it to come in and ship it to me.

GRRR, by center taillight do you mean the Center High Mounted Stop Lamp? I ordered that option on mine.
My guy from the dealer text me tonight that he has been away on a trip to Alaska and that he will be back in the dealership tomorrow and will update me as to what's going on with my order. All chat can say is "Processing-NO ETA"
I guess with this latest delay that noone's status will change until the 15th?
So I read a comment on the F150 forum about the CHMSL camera delay on the Super Duties. They posited that the delay was not because of a defect in the camera itself but rather the camera assembly seal where it meets the cab. Apparently the F150s have a long history of water leaks around the high mount tail light and they thought that maybe Ford is trying to solve it once and for all. If it gets fixed for the Super Duties, it will be fixed for the F150s. Plausible.
Facebook posts say the line is behind schedule by 8,000 units right now and still struggling to get Mexican wire looms. With Mexican Independence Day this Friday, everything slips a little farther behind.
