Depends on where your A/C control unit is installed. I have a 2003 X with the factory installed DVD/Screen unit installed.
My rear A/C controls are on the driver side, so that the screen is centered. The player is installed on the passenger side.
I think they sell those matching color moldings at the Ford Dealership, so that you can install your screen and move the A/C control unit if necessary.

Our dealership had 2 of these units stolen from our lot a couple months ago- 2 days later there were 2 of these IDENTICAL units on e-Bay. The guy selling them didn't have the boxes they came in, and no wiring harnesses for them. I'm not saying you bought a stolen unit, but I'm sure interested where ours went to.......
