'95 Explorer transmission problem...again...
I have had more problems with my explorer ...the speedometer is jumping....the transmission was shifting hard(I have an automatic) the OD off light was blinking and now when I finally take it in after changing out the VSS and RABS...a new code pops up ..first it says incorrect third gear ratio...so the mechanic changes the thermostat since it wasn't coming up to temp, now it says incorrect second gear ratio so he wants me to take it to the transmission shop and spend more $$$......any suggestions on what the problem might be??

The O/D Light FLashing usually means that your tranny is about to drop. I had the same problem and the tranny dropped out about 500 miles after it started Sorry to bring you bad news but i do hope it will help you out
