There sure are a lot of them up here , porcupines are making a comeback too, hope the dog never tangles with one of them. I still remember from when I was a kid when people we knew collie dog tangled with one, had about 20 quills stuck in it's mouth and tongue..

We don't have a lot of them but they are coming back because you see a lot more road kills in the last 5 years or so, trappers said really harsh winters took most of them out years ago..
