I'd love to buy a beater of my dream car ('66 GTO) and rebuild it from the frame up. Or even a '68 Bird. But theres a few things I lack at my age (18) money, and experiance. I know a lot about cars but I don't have the first clue about how to restore them.
This guy sounded like a real jerk though.
I work at a grocery store and whenever I'm pushing carts outside and I see a classic car I'll go talk with the owner, they've all been really nice and I think a little surprised that I like the classics.
This one guy got all excited about me liking his '65 T-Bird he told me it was all original and stuff. Heh...
Hi Dennis,
I'm very sorry to hear of the way that you and Michelle were treated. You were very respectful to this jerk, and did absolutely nothing to deserve that!
I agree with the others that this guy probably didn't do his own work, or didn't even own the car. I just can't think of anyone (even the nastiest of people) who wouldn't jump at the chance to talk about their classic.
