Question Sonnax/Tricumulator "how does it shift"???

Hi im interrested in doing this mod....but I would like some feedback on how they shift....I've heard from some that its great and not to hard of shifts....and others say that it will hit fairly hard almost to hard at times!!! im gonna be primarly pulling a 33ft 5th .....also does it shift in to lock up quicker....stock they shift into lock up kinda slow and lazy...any feedback on how this mod works would be great....also If I do this will I have to disable any transmission programs from tuners or chips???

PS has anybody tried the BD pressure lock system

Sonnax/Tricumulator "how does it shift"???

I've got the sonnax valve and tricumulator springs on my truck, and what I noticed after installing them is that the shifts are firmer now. The shifts are possibly too firm first thing in the morning, but within 2-3 miles, it's just right. Nothing changed about the actual shift points, like making the torque convertor lock up sooner, the chip I have does that. I've heard that you might want to eliminate the shift enhancement portion of the program if you have a tuner, but you might like it that way. I'd try both and decide for yourself.
I hope this helps.
