Need Help Buying New Explorer
I am looking at buying a 1996 Ford explorer. The reason is that I want the 4L 205 HP engine. Now I have read on the internet that there are high center of gravity problems with the explorers. I want to hear from Explorer owners their opinions on purchasing an Explorer. BTW, I want a 96 as I do not think I have enough money for a 98 or newer.

I personally don’t think it’s a problem, the people that drive them didn’t know how to handle their rig.
You could post this in the Explorer and Explorer Sport Trac forum, to get the opinions from the actual drivers of Explorers.
