I and a buddy could maybe handle the swap. If I take it somewhere, it probably won't be much less than the $1000 for a rebuild/gear change..it comes complete with brakes, rotors etc., so I could sell the 3.73 after the swap.
I wouldn't. That's a lot of work for only a 1/3 of a revolution of gearing. Go with the 4.30 or even better yet a 4.56. I wish I would've went to 4.56's when I did my 4.30's. But the 4.30 is still a better match for the V-10 than the 3.73's.
