There should be some Oregon members who can pay him a visit and retrieve your refund, or visit the local police department for some assistance.

I am hoping to avoid that. Maybe some pressure via texts/messages will convince him to be a man and do the right thing. Here is a screen shot of my payment July 29th, with it clearly listing my name, address, and the parts to be sent

If you paid with PayPal, have you filed for non-receipt of goods? If any of us send him nasty messages, we'd be subject to harassment charges by eBay.

Stupid me, allowed him to talk me into sending it as a friend to avoid the paypal fee. This guy probably scammed me. I used to run an ebay store, there is no harassment policy. But I am not asking for any nasty messages, just trying to get through to this guy to do whats right. I think he did try to send the parts based on what he has said, but is at the point now where sending it isnt worth his time and effort since the cost was so low. He needs to just suck it up and send the parts or the money

Glad your on the mend. And hope the parts deal works out.
I hate that feeling of being scammed. Its happened to me but not involving old truck parts. I got screwed out of about $2k on some surveying equipment.

Your health is really the only thing that cant be replaced and I'm so glad that you have been blessed and are on the mend. I too have been taken on Ebay. B4 you were on the site I bought a supposedly rebuilt C4 transmission and paid to have it shipped across the country. When it got here it was a blown up piece of junk. I bought it thru regular channels but just wrote it off to shame on Me, and rebuilt it. I do hope you come to some agreement with the seller that owes you. I started to call the man but stopped when I realized that it may be getting my wife involved (who may answer the phone) in what could escalate into a bad situation, and I just cant do that, sorry. Does Pay Pal possibly have any kind of recourse that you could pursue? When I was younger the guy would have paid with more than money for a stunt like that, but today, no. Best of luck with Him, and get better so we can watch you build your truck. "EDIT" Please don't give up on that transplant coming thru, that's where the prayers come in to play. I have seen prayer make the impossible, possible on several occasions. Not stories I've herd, but real people and real prayer I have been involved with, that left the Dr's stumped. Yes it can and does happen, so hang in there my friend.

Would it be harassment if we all sent him an email saying we were going to order from him but heard he ripped off a friend so are holding up until we hear it was resolved? Just a thought to help a bad situation
