Good day, gentlemen. Seem to have an issue with my pickup.
1993 F250 Extended cab longbed 460 5-speed 4wd 75100 miles.

The other day it started running warm, pulled over as soon as I noticed it, overflow was filled up and radiator was empty. Had it towed home. Next day filled the radiator with water and started it up to back it into the shop. Sounded fine but blowing white smoke out the exhaust. Puddle underneath when I got it parked. Apparently the freeze plug behind the motor mount on the passenger side let go-rusted from the inside I presume. Oil level was over a quart high and definitely has coolant in it.

Haven't had time to start taking things apart yet, but I reckon I may as well get a reman engine on the way because That old thing is smoked. Anyone with Ford specific experience care to chime in?

If you have white smoke and coolant in the oil, I'd say you have a blown head gasket!

Thanks for the response. Head gasket was my first thought, but I've been told that these big Ford engines don't like being hot and tend to crack heads and such. Any thoughts on that?
