Now with it being blazing hot in Florida I have been running windows up and a/c on. Begining to notice the truck is not accelerating the same with the a/c on as it does with the a/c off. It seems like it sluggish till it gets to a certain rpms then you feel it kick in and somewhat take off.
In all of three days you have bitched about the sound system, the MPG, and now the acceleration. I think you bought the wrong truck dude, what do you plan on towing with it?

Im far from bitching. In fact I actually love the truck just not pleased with some stock settings. Just have to fine tune a few things. Only other truck I ever owned was a 2002 Silverado 1500HD CC 4X4. Bought it brand new and ran it till it had 325,000 miles. Found a good deal on this one so I jumped on it.
Main purpose for this truck is a 30' boat I purchased. Again against what I initially felt I love the truck. I just feel a few details are lacking. This truck was in the shop for the past few weeks and Ford gave me a loaner. A 2016 F150 sport. The system in that thing was bananas for a stock radio. Thats what raised that concern.
The a/c issue actually was the same in my Chevy so Im just trying to understand the cause of if there is a problem I am overlooking
Any A/C system with a belt-drivenn compressor will affect the delivery of power. Once the engine comes up to a speed above idle, the affect should be less noticeable. If the A/C system is off, the belt can spin more freely, increasing the perceived power and fuel economy. I don't think you're experiencing anything out of the ordinary.
A/C takes hp to run, so many vehicles will disconnect the A/C clutch under acceleration. Not sure if yours should or not, but it might be it is supposed to disconnect but is not?
