I have a 2 wheel drive 99. I just got a waverunner and the back end sags. I can not find an air bag kit that is affordable. I did find a Hellwig helper spring kit. Is this a good option? Any advice would be appreciated!
Is this a 2-dr Sport? If so, you have the single leaf rear spring. There are several options; you can change the spring out to a spring pack from a 4-dr, or add an "add-a-leaf" which is an extra leaf. You could also use the Helwig helper spring.
I still have the stock springs on my Explorer, but I have a set of the Helwigs on a Cherokee. They firmed up the rear suspension quite a bit, and corrected the sag that I had. They are quick and easy to install, and are adjustable. I like them on the Cherokee, and they should work as well on an Explorer......
