"New" 96 Explorer- O2 sensor prob
Just bought a '96 Explorer XLT 4x4 4-door. Its got leather, moonroof, CD changer, and best of all, a 5-speed manual!
The check engine light has been on for quite a while, according to the previous owner.
I hooked a code scanner to it, and the code I got was for one of the rear O2 sensors.
I changed the sensor, and the code came back even after I cleared it
Anyone ever have problems with the O2 sensor wiring? Anything else I should look for? Could the cat actually be bad?

I'm not sure, but it might have 2 O2 sensors, one upstream (before the cat), and one downstream (after the cat). Check to see how many you have and then you might have to change both.
