Rear Block Size

Does anyone know the new rear block size of the 4x4 f250, compared to the 2011-2016. (standard, with no heavy hauling packages) thanks.

All I saw seemed to have 4" blocks. (Which actually measure out to high 3s.)

Do you have a picture of that???????
Seriously there was a long discussion about block sizes and a quick search did not turn up the thread. Maybe someone else knows where it is. But the short and tall of it is everyone seems to have seen something different at some time. There were some consistencies maybe early on but after that every fact was refuted with a denial or opposing view. Used to be the F250 had a 2 inch block and the f350 had the four inch block. Somewhere in the middle everything got confused. One guys 250 with no packages had 4" while another's had 2". Vehicles at one dealer had them all one size (per model) while another had them all mixed up. Even our talented engineers from Ford on the forum had no theory as to reason. Hope someone can find those posts. You might even be amused after a while!
All the 2017 F250's and 350's today are supposed to have the 4" risers.

Ok, thanks. Since these have a good rake to them, I assume that the new 2x4 blocks are probably the same as the 4x4 blocks were on the previous gen.
The reason i ask is that i want to level, but i dont want to mess with the front end. i was thinking about just lowering the rear a little.

Josh is referring to the 2017's not the mish mosh 11-16's that came both ways. The 17's all have 4" except the DRW's that are 3".

No, he said all DRW. 350 and 450. I've actually just talked to him about swapping in the 3" DRW blocks into a SRW truck if my RV is nose high and he agreed it would be a great way to loose an inch and said it wouldn't affect pinion angle.

Didn't get a tape on the SRW blocks, but here are pics of them. You can see they are taller than the 450 blocks.

Yep your right it was the 450.

If everything plays out, I will probably be swapping out the DRW for SRW blocks as my 5'er is nose low to most trucks.

I doubt it. Traditionally, 2x4s have always been lower then the 4x4s. I bet there is a special block for the 2x4s for the rear.

I'm betting the 2X4 is 2". Perhaps another option for my SRW 350 if my 5th is too high in the front...

I wonder if the blocks from the 2016 and down will fit these new trucks. If so i could get whatever size they were and swap the rear. They came pretty much level, unless the 2017 has a higher front end, then it would be nose high. O well , theres different sizes to choose from, i should be able to find the right one.

Yes...I bet you will have more choices to choose from. The blocks all look like the same dimensions front to back and width wise.
