Hello Everyone,
I am currently putting the leaf springs back on my 74 F-100. What is the best way to keep the springs from squeaking? I have sandblasted all of the parts down and coated them with 2 coats of POR15 and with 2 coats of POR15 chassis black. I have seen something called leaf spring poly advertised in some of the magazines. Does this stuff work, or am I better off just getting some durable oil or grease to put between the springs?
JTC,
If you have blasted, prepped and painted, you are way ahead of the game.
Again, the only thing left to do is to get the teflon shims/pads.
You are squared away!
