I put a Y-pipe on mine and had the annoying flutter. I bought a SCT tuner with 5 Star tunes on it along with the y-pipe. I did not install tunes for a few days just to see what the y-pipe difference was. When I did install the tune, flutter is all but gone. I do have a stock exhaust with y-pipe exception. I will be installing a Aeroturbine 3030xl muffler next week.

I have the early original ram's horn pipe, original cat, a 3 ft resonator and a shiny tip(which lowered the pitch a tad, a good thing). I hear no flutter at all, and I'm a tone expert! Well, bass and guitar tones, HA!

I noticed when I was putting the leveling kit on that I have at least 1 head missing from my exhaust manifolds. Thankfully it's not leaking yet.
Therefore I'm going to save up for a while and just put a set of headers on and work backwards from there.
