hello and thanks soooo much for any help you can give ..It is HOT here in Florida .. I know ... it's the humidity..
My 2004 Expedition is not cooling so great ..The compreser is not cycleing like it should .. I know it could be several things but I would like to change this 13 yea old switch anyhow .. Trouble is I can't find it ..
Can someone Please tell me where in the system they have put it ?? .. This Exp is a dual evap model ... Aren't they all??
On my Expy its top center over the accumulator. Keep in mind, it could be low R22, keeping that switch from operating properly even if good. Also, it could be the a/c pump clutch spacing. Lots of articles here but an easy fix too.
Hello and thank you for the reply ... I will look again but I think maybe my Exp. doesnt have an Accum but rather a "dryer" can by the condenser coil .. Well I'll look again ...
Thing is your answer said I might be low on 22 ??? Did you mean 134a ?? I don't think they normally use 22 in cars unless there is something new I didn't know .. Which is very possable I have been out of the buisness for a long time.. I wish they still used R-12 ...
