Air Bags

I am going to be pulling a large fifth wheel and was thinking of air bags. Does anyone know if i can have air bags with a lift kit?

I suppose it depends on how much it is lifted, but Firestone makes "lift spacers".

Should work but depends on the bags. I had a set installed in my 06 with a 6" lift. I sold the truck shortly after and pulled them out. I just went back to the shop that installed them the first time and had them re-installed on my new rig with an 8" lift. They added a small block between the bags and the spring and everything fit just fine.

my bags had multiple bolt holes on the base plate (which mounts to the axle) for height adjustments. I think the one I got was good for up to 4 inches. Ride Rite 2550. But I do not have a 5th wheel hitch and my bags mounted on the inside of the frame, and with a 5th wheel hitch, your bags will mount on top of your leaf spring. Please correct me if I'm wrong...
