Pulled the trigger after built ford tough event

After returning from the traveling event in Anaheim, I ordered my F350 Platinum today. Dealer says it will be approx. 12 weeks. I hope he is being overly pessimistic, as I have the patience of a four year old in a candy store.

After getting a chance to drive one around I am even more convinced that there is not a better truck out there and can't wait to have it ion front of my house.

DDT11, when did you attend the event? Was it on Wed? If so what time were you there? I went there early (with my kids) and met a number of great people who were interested. Its nice hearing it's only 12 weeks out.

I was there about 1:00 on Thursday. I left there and then drove back up to the SF Bay area. Drove down on business and I was able to "conveniently" schedule it during the event.

I was there today and took all 3 for a spin. I agree all drove great, but I loved that F-350 SRW Powerstroke (even the red was nice). Though I was amazed at how well the F-450 drove and honestly it rode smoother than my inlaws 2008 Chevy 2500 duramax long bed. It also did not feel big at all with the adaptive steering. If I needed that much truck I would not hessitate at all. Also the White Gold looked nice (hated it in pictures and online). Now, I just have to wait for mine to be built....

We're seeing Goodyears and Michellins on the trucks. What models are getting what? I'm only thinking about trade-in value. Last time I did this I drove from the dealer to Les Schwab and got $500 for the take-offs.

Feels like the contis and michelins when the '11's rolled. Goodyears for XL/XLT? Michelins for Lariat+? The truck Ryan posted in the "dealer lot" thread had GY's, yes? All promotional and pre-production KR's and Plats I've seen in person or print have had Michelins on them.

It is really encouraging to hear you guys buying when you see the vehicle first hand. I have watched all of the videos over and over, and it very reassuring to hear our members echo all of Fords promotion of this new rollout. Thanks guys!

The GoodYears have always been the choice for the All Terrain tire option.

I have noticed the 18 inch AT tires are GoodYear and the 20 inch are Michelin at the show last month in Oswego NY.

Does anyone know the exact model of the Michellin tire? LTX AT2 or Defender LTX or something else?
