There are a ton of different types of exhaust out there, that can make it purr like a kitten or sound like a rice rocket. It really depends on what type of sound your looking for? Any thoughts on what type of sound you'd like it to have?
That would help get you some better ideas or you can maybe ask some of the folks to throw a video up of theirs and the sounds their truck makes and see if you like any. Just a thought
I usually suggest leaving them quite because they sound awful but this one actually sounds pretty good. Keep in mind though he has headers and a different y pipe. The factory y pipe seems to make both modular motors sound more tinny. Anyway here's a link to his thread with a before and after video. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l-muffler.html

I'll say I've yet to hear a V10 with a good aftermarket exhaust note. It's never the "whoa, that sounds great!" Its more of the "Well, that's not too bad." Just the way it is with the V10 I guess. Not going to get a V8 rumble out of it.
I'd say expect "Eh" but hope for "ok, not bad" with any system.
Good point by Mike189677 with the others having headers and Y-pipe changes to get the "Well, thats not too bad" sound.
I still love my V10! I just accept that it'll never sound great.
I have an F350 with the V10, which exhaust will produce the best sound for this motor?

That's my EX in the video that Mike linked to, so far I've only got 20 or so miles on the new muffler and I do like the new sound, it's not harsh at all like so many of the other systems and mufflers out there behind the V-10s. These motors can be a challenge to get a decent sound from.
The Banks headers and Y pipe that I installed about 4 years ago made a very noticeable improvement in throttle response, seat of the pants acceleration and towing performance. I'm looking forward to seeing if this new muffler will help with our heavy towing work (11,000lb TT).

Spartan, that is a very nice looking truck!
I don't have headers but did do the spd y pipe and that also made a nice difference throttle response from a stop I would recommend a y pipe even if you don't do headers of course the op will have the Rams horn y pipe instead of the later necked down one like I had so your results may vary some. I wish I knew what muffler I had on my truck it was on it when I bought it, it's quite maybe a smidge louder than stock but has no name on it anywhere it looks like a Gibson but it's not round stainless 3 in and out. I think your ex is the best sounding v10 I've heard usually your looking for either some ear plugs or the mute button haha.
I just replaced a 3.5" banks monster exhaust with a turn down that was real loud and throaty sounding. it was just too loud for my liking so I changed it to a 3" magnaflow catback system.
The monster sound is the best, separates us from the v8's. I have the y pipe with 3" piping and flowmaster 40 series muffler and it sounds like a wild Gorilla for a few mins under acceleration then chills out to a baby Gorilla lol. I for one love the sound of the v10
Bought Doug thorleys a couple weeks ago and going to switch the muffler over the the flowmaster Hushflow has a sick sound and less decibels, 40 series would be a bit to loud.
