I joined FTE a few yrs ago with my 73 F250 Highboy. About a year and a half ago some dude at a coin-op car wash waved some money in front of my face and I bit...sold him my truck. I figured I'd find another one in rhe future.
The future is here...picked up this 76 F150 yesterday. 390, 4-sp, original Root Beer brown. Pretty solid, especially for having lived a lot of it's life in MT. There are cab corners, floor patches and bed-wood in my future now.
I drove it 70 miles home, through afternoon rush hour traffic and some pretty steady rain...0 issues. Step 1: Get those ridiculous lights offa my bumper!
I apologize if the pics are too large. I'm on my phone and sometimes the proportion is off as compared to a PC. I'll look around for a way to downsize. What's an appropriate size for forum pics? I "cropped" (there was THREE Fords, 2 Dodges, 1 GMC, and a 74 Peterbilt 359 in the pics before) but that didn't effect the size.
