This is my first post on FTE. I recently bought a beautiful 2005 6.8L V10 Excursion with ~90k miles. While looking under the hood, I noticed a loose cable. See attached pictures. Any idea where it may have come off?
That vacuum hose connector should be plugged into the front side of the heater hose valve shown in your pictures.
Here is mine on my much dirtier engine.
