hi my name is zach long time ford ownertwo diesels firse was a 2000 f350 7.3 loved and still miss this truck 692k rip body rotted away first 6.0 diesel love this truck even though it has been noting but problems from day one bought from dealer with 158k 700 miles and 31 days later out of lemon law under nys hpop dies but glad to be here to hopefully help people well learning all I can about these 6.0's iv heard horror story's but iv also heard with proper care and maintenance these trucks can and will last forever

You could do a drivetrain swap fix oil pan well 7.3 is out only thing you would probably have to change motor mounts and check with your local laws If you have state inspection like here in NY all the emissions equipment from the 05 would have to be present and function
