I have a 1991 F-150 XLT Lariat with a 302 and I am attempting to find out how much my truck will tow, however I need the weight of the truck to figure that out. Ironically that's one number that they don't put on the safety sticker so I was hoping somebody who's already had a truck like mine weighed might be able to help me out.

 

2wd, 4wd, reg cab, supercab, auto, stick, long bed, short?

It will run from about 3800 to 4600 depending on those factors. To that you have to add fuel and passengers. In California the unladen weight is listed on the registration. For my '94 XL 4x4 reg cab long bed 5.0 auto it is 4425.

It's a 2wd regular cab longbed with automatic trans.

 

If you really want to know exact, go to a weigh station.

 

I posted it about two months back, but my own F-150 weighed in at 5040 lbs with two full tanks and me in it. Standard cab, 133" wheelbase, 4x4, XLT, 351W/E4OD.

 

Your looking at 4000 empty. Remember that anything you put in the truck, including gas and driver, are not included in that figure.

You live in Toledo right? So, maybe go to the Speedway truck stop and weigh it or if ya live closer to a grain elevator you can weigh in there. They may charge a few bucks but ya got your answer. Good Luck! DRWeaver

 

4000 is too low...its atleast 4500.

 

It is a 2wd regular cab. 4500 is way too high if my 4x4 is 4425.
The transfer case, Dana 44, driveshafts, extra shocks, hubs, u-joints must add up to at least 400lbs.
