Intro
I'm Mike from Suffolk VA. I just bought a 2005 E350 Econoline 127,000 miles Chateau trim manufactured 09/04. Always been a van guy and I purchased a diesel for increased tow capacity. Private seller claimed it was bulletproofed (ARP headstuds, EGR delete he said) but no paperwork. Post sale inspection (after much FTE reading) revealed EGR delete but original headbolts. It also revealed much wire harness damage, which i am fixing. It seems like someone haphazardly installed the harness, twisting connectors, leaving wires unsheathed and poor routing. I imagine it was whoever did the EGR delete and the irony is kind of tasty.
