Have a 1994 ford f250 460.The problem i am having is i cant get the fuel pump to run either on but the gauges work.I can run them manualy.I have swap out relay and still nothing. And i did notice now the check engine light doesnt come on either and it always did when you try to start it.
So i pulled the plug on the pcm and test each pin and could get the fuel pumps to run.The other thing i noticed was everything i tested with the test light was bright and when i touch the fuel pump slot it wasnt bright
Yeah pulled the pcm pigtail off and had the test light grounded and touched the pcm pin for the fuel pump and the would run and when i switch to anther one it would run.But the funny part is the check engine light doesnt come on with the key on.
The inertia switch will only receive power if the fuel pump relay is on, which will only turn on if the computer is working, and even then it will only energize for 1 second unless the engine is running.
Have you verified that pins 1, 37 and 57 on the PCM connector have power with the key on?
If they lit up, and pins 20,40 and 60 have ground, then I believe your computer has failed if the check engine light does not come on, and the fuel pumps do not run.
