Need help. 85f350 crewcab . Have very low air volume from dash vents. New blower motor, has all speeds, clean blower wheel. Cleaned out blower side of evap when blower out. A C disconnected during engine removal for O. H. now repaired a c ,new comp. dryer, hoses, orifice. Had low volume at dash vents, even on hi speed ,but yesterday air volume dropped to almost nothing ( badly needed as O S air temp was 118 and driving into sun) have owned truck 7 yrs and have done all work myself ( OH eng, Trans, suspension, elect, ect) but am lost here. Blow comp. air thru vents back towards heater box, with heater core cover off, seems to have no restriction. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I'd bet you have a problem with where the air is going. Check the defrost vents as Defrost is the default position for the system when there's no vacuum.
If that's it there are several things to check, but start with there being vacuum going into the cab. There's a small black plastic line by the passenger-side hood hinge. Actually, there are two there - one going in from a tee where vacuum comes from the engine, then to the reservoir and into the cab. The other little line goes to the recirculate door.

+1 on Gary's suggestion. You should have airflow from the defroster ducts at the very least, because of how the plenum doors are spring-loaded.
If there's no airflow there, check the defroster ducts for blockage. Years ago one summer, I bought a car from a guy who threw anything and everything on the dash. Come winter, I discovered no airflow from the defroster. Eventually I dug out several hundred pennies, beer can pull tabs (the old fashioned kind that could be linked together to make a spiffy hat), and all sorts of other assorted flotsam small enough to fall into the ducts.
