replace or rebuild caliper?
My bronco pulls badly to the left when braking, unless you stomp on the brake before you take off, im pretty sure the right caliper is stuck/sticking. Is it very easy to rebuild a caliper? the haynes manual recomended replacing it and it says you should rebuild both at the same time. Any one have any words of wisdom to offer an youngin?

Whichever you decide to do, rebuild or replace, definitely do BOTH. As sure as you don't, the other one will fail soon after you have it all buttoned back up. And if you are like most of us, you hate doing the same job twice. I have always simply replaced them. Rebuilding just takes more time than I am usually willing to leave the truck "down". But, if you know what you are doing, it may be more cost effective to rebuild.

i just redid my whole front brake system on my 87', and reman. front calipers from O'rylies, was $17 bucks each, just my opinion but for 17 bucks it's not worth the agravation to rebuild it myself. Thnx DW

maybe the calipers dont need replacing at all, the slider pins could just be crapped up and need to be replaced be sure to clean the pin grooves on the steering knuckle well with a wire brush and use brake lube in the grooves beforer re assembly.
it is definatly better to replace the calipers because you dont have to deal with frozen bleeder screws.
