I am looking for a cab for my 53 f100 or someone to help me work on the rust on mine close to independence missouri

I see them from time to time on CL in Kansas. Too far for me but realitively close to you. Also, I've seen cabs at the Springfield, Mo Ozark Swap meet. It's 19-21 AUG at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. But no guarantees.

I m not a body man nor an expert, but I think that can be patched. My 54 was like that back in 1999 when I had it fixed. My rocler panels were all rotted out. Also, my rear cab corners were replaced as were the front door jambs and the rear door pillars.

That's all repairable Pappy and likely will need to be done to any other cabs you find, some a worse than others..

How far is Kelsey, NE from Independence, MO? Is this a picture of Terry's F100's?

 

I don't know how far it is or what the name of the biz is.

I use Google Earth to search for ghost signs, have looked at 1000's of buildings in 100's of towns.

The building to the right (not shown in the pic) was originally a Ford dealer, has a faded Ford script painted sign.

 

Google says it's 217 miles. I wouldn't drive there until I contacted them first.

It's not Terry's he's in Stromsburg, Nebraska.

 

Gibbon, NE is 325 miles away, a 5 hour drive one way.
The good thing is that Terry's F-100 is on the way. You could go look at both.
